Sugar Plum Cocktail Featuring Plush Vodka
Hey guys! Hope everyone had an awesome Super Bowl weekend! I’ll be honest, I didn’t watch the game at all but I did catch The Weekend’s performance. I seriously love him so much. I spent the evening eating nachos and drink way more than I planned so I spent the next day hibernating! But today is a brand new day, and in Florida, it’s a super hot day. We had beautiful sunny skies and 86 degree weather in February, gotta love it!
So with Valentine’s Day and Spring around the corner, I was inspired to create a new cocktail. I received a plum flavored vodka from the brand, Plush Vodka. Plush Vodka was created in 2016 and is a smooth vodka when over ice. I was able to get my hands on their ‘plum’ flavor, which has a nice soft delicate sweetness without being overpowering. So I was inspired to create a purple-colored sweet cocktail with the spirit.
The Sugar Plum Cocktail
The creation from this cocktail came pretty easily. I wanted to craft a cocktail that was a gorgeous color and wanted it to be fresh, sophisticated yet easy to make at home.
To get a natural purple color, I went with muddled fresh blackberries. As well as a dash of Elderflower Liqueur for a beautiful floral touch. Fresh lemon juice for the brightness to round out the flavor. Also, I added a touch of pineapple juice for additional sweetness in case the mixture came off too boozy since I wanted this to be an easy cocktail to consume. And of course, the main spirit is the Plush plum flavored vodka. After everything is shaken up and mixed well in a bartender’s tin, you’ll want to strain into a serving glass with fresh ice. And top with Pink Moscato. I did go the extra mile and purchased some fresh edible flowers from Whole Foods to get those Spring Vibes as a garnish.
Naturally, when you muddle, each cocktail will have tiny pieces of blackberries. This will adds more to the texture and look beautiful in the cocktail as it swims around with crushed ice.
All together, you get a slightly sweet and gorgeous cocktail!

- 1.5 oz Plum Flavored Vodka (Preferrably, Plush Vodka )
- .25 oz Elderflower Liqueur (Preferably, St. Germain )
- .25 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- .25 oz Pineapple
- 4 Blackberries (Muddled)
- .25 oz Pink Moscato (Preferably, Barefoot Pink Moscato )
