Orlando Date Night at Southern Hill Farms

This week, my boyfriend Jeff and I went to Southern Hill Farms to check out what is in season! During our trip in May 2021, we were able to pick our own fresh sunflowers, blueberries, and peaches! For strawberries, you can visit the farm from December through March during the winter months!

If you are like us and you love sunflowers, to enter the flower fields, the farm does have a $5 “Flower Field Pass” fee which includes that entrance fee, a bottle of water, and scissors to borrow to cut down your sunflowers. This includes the colorful Zinnias that are $1 for picking. Although the farm itself has no admission fee, so it is free to enter and walk around. The farm is closed on Monday and Tuesday so make sure to check out their website at southerhillfarms.com for any hour updates!

Tip: Make sure to wear comfortable shoes. There are areas that are a bit muddy or highly dusty depending on the weather. Either way, the farm is huge so make sure you are wearing durable shoes that won’t hurt your feet after a long day of walking!

Tip: Taking the kids, make sure to have a blast at the Kids Zone that is only available during the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The Kids Zone includes a rock climbing wall, a giant slide, a swing, obstacle courses, bounce houses, and more!

If you are in need of a cute date night idea, we highly recommend checking out Southern Hill Farms!
