Pop Up Shop Essentials for a Luxury Lash Boutique Business + Links
Preparing for the pop up was a lot of fun because I was able to use my creativity and crafting skills. I probably took about 2 weeks to research and prep everything for the event. After watching countless hours of videos on pop up shops, I knew that I wanted a stand that stood out!

For the set up to be successful, I knew I needed to have a game plan on how to place everything in order in a timely manner. We had about an hour to get everything in place before the event started. So I drew out a guide/diagram with everything I wanted at the shop plus where to place. Then I went on canva.com, a digital design program, to bring it to life digitally.

For the rounded display, I used wood from The Home Depot that were custom cut to be rounded at the top.
The paint colors are all from Behr which are available at the Home Depot. The colors are in the shade, Bubble Shell, Coral Cloud, and Resort Sunrise. All of Behr paint includes a primer so I was able to achieve my desired shade with a paint roller. I did two coats of each color of paint. The finished I used was Exterior Semi-Gloss Enamel.

At first, I wanted to add some brand photos to the main panel but decided last minute to do a more minimal look. The custom floral piece was created by a local florist in the Orlando Area, @bohoblossomflowershop. She was able to create a gorgeous piece for about $250 that will last for many years with proper care.

14 INCH ACRYLIC FLOATING BOOKSHELVES: https://rstyle.me/+ZLkNotqYFtWeZcKM03QI-w
These lightweight shelves were perfect for displaying my lashes and for being additional storage.

LIPSTICK HOLDER TO DISPLAY EYELINERS + ADHESIVES: https://rstyle.me/+OVGOY-PwhTRw_QgQmIYvqQ
This was a create way to display all of my liquid liners, and adhesives.

DUST PROOF TWEEZER HOLDER FOR EYELASHES: https://rstyle.me/+hFfrks5zzQ40TYxtFXOIrw
I was able to attach my lash styles to tweezers (not included) so customers can look closer at the lashes, plus try out different eyelash styles. I love that this display comes with a cover to keep the lashes dust proof.

6FT FOLDABLE TABLE: https://rstyle.me/+RvSETDTLg-Ou3nM0wxOg
A table is essential for all pop up shops. I was able to get one complimentary from the event host! But I wanted to provide a link to a good foldable one, which i’ll more than likely need for my next pop up shop.

SHOPPING BAGS: https://rstyle.me/+iykiwxa7Y9HqZOQnLJbxsw
To ensure that you shopping bags are able to hold your packing boxes, make sure to provide shopping bags. If possible, add your logo or business name to your bags.

PACKING BOXES FOR LASHES: https://rstyle.me/+X3GoO_h5lGrNpqw2i62bGA
I love to adding boxes that I am able to wrap in front of the customer for a more personalized and luxurious experience.
DECORATIVE RIBBON FOR PACKAGING
Most luxury designer shops add a ribbon to the packaging so I want to add one for customers to feel like their opening a Christmas Present when they take their products home.
iPad + iPad Mini
An iPad is a great way to display product and brand visuals. Since I have two iPads, I use my standard size iPad for my Square POS system and an iPad mini to display product.

SQUARE POS FOR IPAD WITH CONTACTLESS AND CHIP: https://rstyle.me/+oyFRYyrpml_iM_Ymt17rsw // https://rstyle.me/+8bM3OgClvxv1PQDtklEH7g (card reader for mobile)
To make the payment stress free and convenient for your customers, I recommend having a contactless and chip reader with SQUARE. Although, Internet connection can be an issue for most pop up situations. It’s possible to do a cheaper alternative with the square card reader with your mobile phone. If you sign up through the website, you can snag a free reader. There are additional fees for each transaction. Another alternative that I used is the Shopify POS app to manual add card information for IOS (I’m sure there is a version for other phones but I have iPhone so I’m not 100% sure). In addition, this helped me to keep track of inventory.

CRICUT EXPLORE 3: https://rstyle.me/+eB4c6nm-VY_FYcdT23koBQ
To create all of my personalization to my products and displays, I use my amazing Cricut machine! It’s honestly the best investment I made for my business. I love it so much! I highly recommend the Cricut accessories plus the permanent and removable vinyls.
THANK YOU CARDS
Add thank you cards and business cards at hand with discount codes for your new customers. I like to get mine through Etsy or via vistaprint.com
CLIENT CHAIR
This isn’t necessary for every pop up shop, but I wanted to add an extra service where I custom cut to fit and applied the lashes onto my new customers.

LED STRIP LIGHTS: https://rstyle.me/+Dwv0KKfbHIG9hP_5dzbLLA
Since my pop up event was indoors, I added the pop up light strips for an additional light plus to add a nice lit up touch!

GOLD FRAMES: https://rstyle.me/+pgXFE0X-3AgCgC7VCdbO6w
I used this cute gold frames to display my logo. Also, this is a great way to add any brand photos or visuals of the products on models. Another great idea for the frames is to add your website and social links. In addition, adding QR codes for the links will provide an easy way for your customers to access your pages.

Boho Tassel Waterproof Table Cloth: https://rstyle.me/+L0ixAVxUd3yM9Gnj_J3_-Q
I used a cute boho styled waterproof table cloth for my booth. Most events will provide a plain white or black sheet so you could skip this step. To establish the brand presence, add a permanent vinyl of your Logo onto the Table Cloth. I design my vinyls with my Cricut Explore 3.

Makeup Vanity Mirror with Lights: https://rstyle.me/+d_Nhl9qwD3LB5t2tzIVtlQ
This was a great size for one person to apply and try on lashes. This mirror also changed warmth and is dimmable. It added a lot of additional light as well since the venue I was in was pretty dark!
