Spending a day in New Smyrna Beach? Here are Kristina’s top places to enjoy some good vibes, and amazing food and drinks in NSB!
Best Beach Bar in New Smyrna Beach:
Chases on the Beach
3401 S Atlantic Ave
New Smyrna Beach, Fl 32169
+1 (386) 423-8787
This is a popular local spot that gets slammed on the weekends, so forewarning, you’ll need to have some patience with the staff and bartenders. But get there early before dinner rush for some good vibes plus a table with an ocean view!
The Best Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach:
556 E 3rd Ave, New Smyrna Beach, Fl 32169
+1 (386) 424-6660
If you are looking for mouth-watering and memorable dishes, a unique eclectic Florida inside and outside atmosphere plus live entertainment, look no further than The Garlic. This old-school restaurant has some of the best pasta, steak, and rustic Italian comfort food with you guessed it, plenty of garlic! I’m personally a huge fan of their bread and roasted garlic appetizer that comes without to every table. Seriously, sometimes I dream about it! And don’t skip on the Cioppino, a savory seafood stew with tomato saffron broth! Delicious!
Tip: This restaurant and bar do not require reservations. But keep in mind, they’re busy just about every single night. So make sure to get there at a good time to avoid a long wait, but trust me, the wait is so worth it!
The Best Place to Grab a Drink:
Norwood’s Treehouse Restaurant and Bar (Treehouse Bar is 21+)
Bar & Grill
400 E 2nd Ave, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32169
+1 (386) 428 4621
Who wouldn’t want to have drinks in the sky? This unique bar has a great atmosphere and shouldn’t be skipped on if you want to get a yummy drink in the area. They offer live music every night. Plus Happy Hour Monday-Friday from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm featuring half-off drinks, domestic beers, and house wines.
