The Best Bed and Breakfast in St. Augustine – 44 Spanish Street Inn Review

This post is based on my opinions on the best bed and breakfast in St. Augustine. Every post is always my own opinion.

For our first trip in the new year, we decided to head north Florida to Saint Augustine. Saint Augustine is known as The oldest city in the nation. It is filled with so much history, museums, amazing restaurants, and cocktail bars plus you can also find some cool distillery and breweries in the area. We tried to visit every year for the Night of Lights, which is the city’s Holiday event where every corner is adorned with 3 million Christmas lights!

The displays are up from November 20, 2021, to January 31, 2022, so we were able to make it just in time!

During our recent visit, we decided we wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast and historic Saint Augustine to get the experience of staying near downtown! This was my boyfriend’s first time ever staying in one and he was actually quite surprised with the visit! The bed and breakfast we booked is called 44 Spanish St. inn. I booked this based on their amazing reviews online and its close proximity to all the best attractions and restaurants. All About 44 Spanish Street Inn

44 Spanish St. Inn is a restored 1920’s vintage building that offers 8 comfy bedrooms with private baths. Our room was called the Magnolia room which was a small room with its own jetted tub!

Although the rooms themselves weren’t that special, they were very comfortable and cozy. Our itinerary for Saint Augustine was filled with walking and sightseeing so Jeff and I booked this bed and breakfast because of the amazing location. And the breakfast itself was definitely a perk because it was delicious!

We started off with hot coffee and orange juice. While fresh pancakes and sausage Pattie’s were cooking, we were served a parfait with fresh berries!

If you are looking to stay somewhere that is in a fabulous location, offers yummy food, a coffee station, and a cozy bedroom definitely consider staying here at 44 Spanish Street Inn!
