The Perfect Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia
Since I lived in Atlanta for 5+ years, I get asked all the time what are the best things to do in the city! Atlanta is filled with rich history, amazing food, and art installations. If I were to spend one day in Atlanta, here is where I would take my friends!

Ponce City Market
Ponce City Market is a vibrant market with amazing local restaurants and neat shops all within a building that was once a historic Sears. I remember when this building was in construction and I love what they made of this area. Some of my favorite shops inside are Citizen Supply, H&F Burger, Five Daughters Bakery, King of Pops Beach Bar (located outside), and Minero. Don’t forget to head up to the rooftop for the amazing view of the Atlanta skyline plus play some amusement park games at “Skyline Park”.

ATLANTA BELTLINE
This popular walking trail/bike path connects you to Piedmont Park, Ponce City Market, Kroger all the way down to some yummy restaurants and bars like a Brewery, Kevin Rathbun’s Steak, and Lady Bird. And at the end is Krog Street Market. There are usually scooters or bikes to rent to make the trip even more fun!

GEORGIA AQUARIUM
If you are an animal lover or intrigued by sea life, you can’t miss a visit to the Georgia Aquarium. It’s one of the largest in North America and is spectacular! If it’s your first time visiting Atlanta, it’s a must!

Krog Street Market
Another cool food hall that is smaller than Ponce City Market but worth the visit!
ATLANTA BOTANICAL GARDEN
Personally, I love plants and flowers so if you’re the same way, make sure to check the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Especially if you are in Atlanta during the Holidays!
BRAVES GAME AT TRUIST PARK STADIUM
There’s nothing like catching a baseball game at the Truist Park Stadium. In case you’re visiting during off season, there are plenty of places to catch a bite to eat or grab a few drinks in the area.
STONE MOUNTAIN HIKE
Not for the faint of heart, this is a must for outdoor lovers! The hike itself is a level 6 out of 10 for me because of it’s slipper rocks, and steep inclines. But the views from the top make it all worth it!
PIEDMONT PARK
This park gives Central Park vibes. You’ll see plenty of dogs, joggers, field sports going on over at Piedmont Park. If you’re visiting in the summer you may run into a festival or event! Either way, a stroll or picnic at the park sounds like a great day to me.
Favorite Restaurants
For BBQ, check out Fox Bros
For Southern Cuisine, you have to dine at South City Kitchen. They also have a fabulous brunch!
For Italian food with a fun and quirky vibe, check out Amor E Amor
If you’re in the mood for yummy and unique burgers, the Vortex on Moreland Ave. (21+) is your spot!
If you want to ball out of steal, Little Alley Steaks has the best cuts and vibes.
Nightlife
Tongue and Groove for bottle service or celebration.
If you want a cute date night spot, check out Ormsbys’ or The Painted Duck.
If you want more of the college vibes, Buckhead Saloon or Big Sky are always a good time!
