4 Stay At Home Date Night Ideas to Try this week

Cook something new together

Since we’ve been at home more the past year, Jeff has fallen in love with cooking. So we love to plan cooking at least a couple of meals together that we’ve never made before. I think the food tastes way better when both of us are making it together.
So plan a meal and assign the responsibilities. Pick who is going grocery shopping, who is doing the cutting, the grilling, etc. That way everything will go smoothly. Also, don’t forget the wine and dessert!

Play a board game or video game

Got a competitive side? Let it show with a few friendly games. If you don’t already have a collection of games at home, try to get a few classics.

Some of our favorites:
– Scrabble
– Jenga
– Checkers

Jeff has a ps5, so we love to go head to head on a game of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled!

Have a spa night

If you man doesn’t love to be pampered, or pamper you, dump him! Kidding! Personally, Jeff and I love to give each other back massages, and put on clay facials, or take warm bubble baths. We like to set the mood with candles, spa music from Youtube or our Alexa, and make the experience as relaxing as possible. At first, it seems silly. Fortunately for us, over time, the giggles went away and we became more focused on making sure each person was comfortable. So order some bath bombs, some massage oil, and dim the lights while indulging in a spa night for two!

Have your favorite dessert delivered

I’m a big chocolate fanatic. So we were so lucky to have this cake from our local baker, @cakesbybiggie on instagram. Jeff and I didn’t do anything cute as far as photos but I was able to capture these for us! The cake was almost too beautiful to eat.
